The International Master in Molecular Catalysis and Green Chemistry is a postgraduate course in English for students in chemistry and related fields. The program offers education and research training in Fine Chemistry, Organometallics and Catalysis, Molecular and Polymer Materials, Nanochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Sustainable development. It provides the necessary skills for understanding recent and future developments of modern, multidisciplinary chemistry at the industrial and academic level. This national diploma (French Ministry of National Education) is delivered by the University of Rennes 1. Joint-agreement between the University of Rennes 1 and the home University can be arranged.

Courses are given by professors-researchers belonging to an associated CNRS laboratory in contact with European universities and industry (30 ECTS).
Research training of minimum 9 months shared out over the two semesters (30 ECTS).
Participation of European visiting professors and industry researchers.
This master is designed for non French speaking students and can be selected by Francophone students with good English level.

The inclusion of intensive French and technical English languages in the curriculum will strengthen the student's professional future and will prepare the student for leadership roles in industry. Unique opportunities for training and mobility within the European Community (EC) are given by the active participation of University of Rennes 1 in several networks with European universities. Every student will benefit from a personal tutorial assistance for a rapid, effective integration in the course and immersion in the French society.
